2010 berwick Show and Beaut Ute Comp
On sunday 28th Feb the Beat ute comp is on at the berwick show. Went to this a couple of years ago and it was a great day out. here's some info from the website.

The Berwick & District Show Committee advise dates for the forthcoming 2010 Berwick Show

Saturday February 27
Sunday February 28
Monday March 8 (Open Horse events)

AKOONAH PARK, BERWICK (Melways 111, H10)

Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Alpaca Competitions

Horse Events and Showjumping Competition

Craft, Cooking, Art, Photography, Horticulture Competitions

Poultry, Cavies, Rabbits, Fancy Rats, Ferret Competitions

School Exhibit, Dog High Jump Competition

Dog Show on the Saturday

Free Entertainment & Attractions incl. Animal Nursery

Carnival, Fireworks on Saturday night

Woodchop and Beaut Ute Competitions on Sunday

The Berwick Show Society has a long and proud association with agricultural competition in Victoria, tracing its history back through the Mornington Farmers Society to the founding body in Victoria, the Port Phillip Farmers Society which was established in 1848.

The Berwick Show of today is of course very different to that conducted 160 years ago. Notwithstanding we are very proud of the fact that our agricultural and horticultural exhibits remain a significant component of our Show. Our cattle exhibit is one of the largest outside the Royal Melbourne, and we have significant Horse, Sheep, Alpaca, Goat, and Poultry Exhibits.

Our Saturday night carnival continues to be a highly successful and popular component of our Show. A major success factor being the very good working relationship we have with the Victorian Showmen’s Guild. Through their co-operation we are able conduct a well organised and safe event.

One thing that remains constant is the contribution made by the volunteers who make up the Show Society. Without their dedication and hard work there would be no Show.

well seems my last post wassnt so accurate and i ended up looking at cows to.. lol... but my girlfriend won a ribbon for first in one of the cow classes...


ute show was good, fair turnout... and a few laughs.
