Hi All,
Ive been looking at possibly upgrading my standard Throttle Body to either a 90mm or 100mm. Are there other things that would need to be changed or done to make this part work well or is it just a bolt on part and away you go ? I have a VY II SS Ute with the following mods: SS Inductions Growler CAI Difilipo exhaust from Cat back Any feedback or suggestions would be great. Thanks

I be just getting the standard T/B polished and honed like what i've had. 90/100mm T/B's are only really used for the more modified motors say like a stroker, big cammed or blown next gen motor.

The 100mm was $369 on ebay from a company called OzSome Motorsports and their 90mm was $339 and 80mm for $259 but they do auction some off as well that might go a bit cheaper. Was just looking for something to upgrade under the bonnet without going nuts in the price.

Dont go any bigger than 90mm on a stock motor.
Any bigger than a 90mm one will not do anything more than the 90mm one will do.

Mate from my experience with throttle bodies I'd save the dollars and spend it on something else I think they're a waste of money. Like Steve said unless you're blown, stroked or cammed making big HP its just a waste. Get the stock honed if you really want it bigger.
You say you only have a Cat back so I'd save that money and put it into headers and high flow cat or maybe an under drive pulley kit. You're gonna notice a way bigger difference from headers and cat or an under drive pulley kit than a throttle body. Don't know what the aftermarket t/b's are like on the Holden's but I know on fords they are crap. Everyone complains about idle problems. Liam bigger throttle body basically just forces more air in.
